Frequently asked questions

When should we book our officiant?

Most couples book 6-9 months before their wedding date, but I can often accommodate shorter timelines. Reach out as soon as your venue and date are confirmed.

Do you travel to different venues?

Yes. I officiate at venues across Simcoe County, including Barrie, Collingwood, Orillia, and surrounding areas. Travel fees may apply for locations outside my usual service area.

Can we write our own vows?

Absolutely. I encourage couples to personalize their ceremony. We'll work together to create vows that feel natural and meaningful to you.

What's included in your service?

Every ceremony includes a pre-wedding consultation, a personalized ceremony script, the ceremony itself, and signing of your marriage license. I'll also provide guidance on ceremony structure and timing.

How long does a typical ceremony last?

Most ceremonies run 20-30 minutes, but we can adjust the length based on your preferences. Elopements are often shorter, while traditional ceremonies may be longer.

What if we need to reschedule?

Life happens. If you need to reschedule, just let me know as soon as possible. I'll do my best to accommodate your new date.
